I am a fully qualified Independent Equine Nutritionist, based in the West Midlands area of the United Kingdom. My pursuit of equine nutrition began during my time reading for a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Health and Welfare, where I gained essential hands-on and laboratory-based experience in both small animal and equine nutrition. After graduating, I completed a two-year-long Level 5 course in Equine Nutrition, with my equine nutrition services opening two months after graduating with a Distinction!
Put simply, an Independent Equine Nutritionist is a qualified nutritionist who works on a freelance-basis to offer professional, science-backed advice to owners on how they can enhance their horses’ existing feed plan. They are not to be confused with ‘feed brand reps’, as Independent Equine Nutritionists are NOT associated with any equine nutrition companies or their products.
Yes! As I am not linked to any of the 50+ equine feed companies located across the United Kingdom, you can be certain that all of my advice will be completely impartial. I am able to assess your horse’s nutritional needs and recommend how these can be fully met without the mention of any particular brand of equine feed or supplement. The choice on what to buy is then yours!

Testimonials:
“I got in touch as my horse suffers with chronic gastric ulcers which we try to manage alongside a relatively full-on competitive life. I reached out, as I was wondering how nutrition can affect the re-occurence of them. Georgia provided a lovely and informative spreadsheet explaining many factors around ulcers which I found so so useful – everything made perfect sense too, no vet jargon for me to try to figure out! Georgia also got this spreadsheet back to me in very good time, which is always a plus. Would definitely recommend!” – Client Review, 2023
